Carol Zack
is a Chicago area artist whose background
includes studies in Fine Art, Art History and Art Education from Vanderbilt
University in Nashville, Tennessee, and the University of Illinois,
Champaign/Urbana.
She enjoys using Vibrant color in her
compositions and takes inspiration from the French impressionist painters who
visually explored nature and people with the use of broken color to create an
energetic surface of unmixed color.
Carol's colorful portraits in oil pastel
and torn tissue paper create a unique perspective of integration of surface
texture and form.
